Dear Siddha Yogi,
Namaste!
On October 16, 2010, you are invited to participate in the Global Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive in honor of Baba Muktananda’s Mahasamadhi.
The heart of the Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive is the Guru’s anugraha-shakti, the grace bestowing power of the Guru. Every moment of the Intensive is permeated by Gurumayi Chidvilasananda’s grace. In this uniquely supportive environment, experienced Siddha Yogis and newcomers alike immerse themselves in spiritual practice.
In the Intensive Gurumayi bestows shaktipat-diksha—the awakening of kundalini-shakti, the divine energy within us. Once awakened, kundalini vitalizes and sustains our spiritual practices. Each time you participate in the Intensive, you take a stride forward in your practice of meditation, you broaden your knowledge of Siddha Yoga sadhana, and you expand your love and experience of the Self.
Gurumayi has established the tradition of an annual Shaktipat Intensive in honor of Baba Muktananda’s mahasamadhi. For me, participating in the Intensive each year has been one of the most significant and powerful catalysts for my sadhana. Over and again, the experience of the Intensive has reinforced my conviction "I am the Self."
The title of this Intensive is: Search for the knowledge of the Truth, and become established in the awareness of the Self.
This Intensive was first offered in October 2008 to celebrate the 100th anniversary year of Baba Muktananda’s birth. Through vivid accounts, rare photographs and archival videos, the Intensive focuses on Baba’s life, his sadhana, and his immense spiritual legacy. The SYDA Foundation is pleased to offer this historic Intensive again this year.
I warmly encourage you to participate in the Global Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive for 2010.
With best regards,
